Are there any eligibility considerations?
Yes. You must be 65 years of age or older, have not yet received a flu vaccine this year, and you must be in good general health.
What is the purpose of this study?
This clinical research study is designed to help researchers better understand flu prevention and vaccine research in adults. If you qualify and choose to participate, you may receive study related evaluations, regular check-ins with the research team, study-related care at no cost, and compensation.

History of prior heart attack or stroke OR at risk for your first heart attack or stroke. (Diabetes, blockages in arteries, chronic kidney disease, tobacco use, etc.)
Prescribed Cholesterol medication (or unable to tolerate).

Heart disease
Type 2 diabetes
High blood pressure
Obesity
Peripheral vascular disease
Family history of high cholesterol or cardiovascular disease
